General Hospital Spoilers – Lucas Jones Is One Of The Most Powerful Recurring Characters
Lucas struggled to fit in most of his life with his family, while struggling with his own identity-in particular, his sexual one. He finally came out as gay and in one of the most powerful storylines, married Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and adopted a newborn baby boy.
Lucas didn’t find out until many months later that their original baby, who they named Wiley Cooper-Jones (Billie Rose Albright) died of SIDS.
Nelle Benson, (Chloe Lanier) convinced Brad to swap the dead baby with hers, Jonah Corinthos who is now known as Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
In a later twist Wiley Cooper-Jones’ birth mother Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was revealed to be Nelle’s fraternal twin, which made the two babies cousins.
GH Spoilers – Distancing Himself From His Birth Father And Divorcing Brad
Naturally, when the truth came out about Wiley, it caused an unfixable rift between himself and Brad, and they divorced. Lucas has been back and forth from Port Charles a few times, with Brad in other troubles and back and forth as well.
Another pivotal point in Lucas’ family relationships was distancing himself from Julian when he learned of a murder he committed-already being familiar with his criminal past and struggling. His reuniting with his half-sister Sam in 2014 was a much more strong relationship, and a powerful moment as well.
