The actress, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis on the hit ABC soap, recently open up on social media for the two things she believes are wrong for the country. And no, Donald Trump was not listed as one of them.
Instead, the actress told her followers on X (formerly Twitter): “If I were to lay blame on 2 things for the critical condition of America right now, I would have to say Fox News and Andy Cohen. We can discuss this later. I’m going to bed.”
And because Nancy is the kind of person who knows how to ignite a social media firestorm with her fans and followers.
Some replied on her post with, “Fox News, totally agree. Andy Cohen? I don’t watch him so I don’t get it but I trust NLG. We have the same politics.”
“Nancy, perhaps tomorrow you could weigh in on your opinion of Mark Cuban’s remarks about considering buying Fox and turning it around?”
Another critic wrote, “See, I’d go with self-important actors who think America cares about their opinion. Stick with your day job for as long as they will let you.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I think it started when Obama became president.”
“The majority of people knew what a big deal it was, but it also brought out Trump, and all the hate was exposed, Fox wouldn’t be popular without hateful people watching, and Andy has been a jerk since the 90s, he just wants money.”
And while there might have been a lot of fans who disagreed with Nancy, that’s not going to stop her from expressing her views, no matter how controversial they are. In some ways, Nancy is much like her on screen character, Alexis Davis.
