Shocking Reaction: Nancy Lee Grahn’s Daughter Speaks Out After Watching General Hospital—You Won’t Believe What She Said!
Here’s What Nancy Lee Grahn’s Daughter Said After Watching General Hospital
Nancy Lee Grahn’s daughter enjoyed viewing scenes her mom was in, and was wholly impressed.
Nancy Lee Grahn has not only played Alexis on General Hospital since 1996, but she became a bona fide soap star before that when she played Julia Wainwright Capwell on Santa Barbara in 1985. Her daughter Kate has also proven she’s got immense talent as a singer/songwriter, even performing at the 2023 Nurses’ Ball. Despite the weight of massive talent, she’s still periodically blown away by her mom’s deft skills as well.
She Considers Mom a Bada$$
GH’s Alexis had some trying scenes with Kristina (Kate Mansi) recently because her on-screen daughter had lost her baby after a fall into a pool. Grahn’s real-life daughter happened to catch some of it and couldn’t help but praise her mother’s emotional performance. In an August 17 post to X, formerly Twitter, the younger Grahn wrote, “Sooo i tuned into #GeneralHospital which I haven’t done in idk how long…and I forgot how bada$$ my mom is…forgot she’s a trained actress and is really f-ing good. @NancyLeeGrahn.” (Check out the time younger Grahn released a song.)
A fan couldn’t help but agree, hilariously responding, “Yep! I shared that with her a few weeks ago. I don’t think I said ‘f-ing,’ tho. Well…maybe 😂.” Kate then jumped in to reply, “I remember years ago watching the scene at her sister’s funeral or something and I balled my eyes out bc she was so believable even tho I had like never seen the show hahahahah.”
Fans Truly Love Grahn
Everyone responded that they loved and appreciated her mom, and thoroughly enjoyed her performances, with one joking, “I know you’ll take those over her sex scenes hands down 😂.” Kate’s response to that particular quip was incredibly funny, as she stated, “As far as I’m concerned my mother has never had one.”
Another of her followers praised mama Grahn with, “She is great. Love her scenes. Alexis is one of my favorite characters on the show and your Mom is so convincing you can feel what she (the character) is feeling.” One fan who knows their history also jumped on the high-praise bandwagon, noting, “Her scene with her daughter in the hospital was heartbreaking. I’ve been a fan since she was on Santa Barbara.”
And one of her followers spoke for everyone by posting, “She’s bada$$ that’s for sure.”
