General Hospital star set to join Bold and the Beautiful after shocking murder
Ted King is making his return to The Bold and the Beautiful this month.
The actor, who also appeared on General Hospital, made an appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful for the first time since June 2023 on Monday. He returned as the criminal defense lawyer, Jack Finnegan.
His brief appearance this week had him involved in a surprise run-in with his estranged wife, Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). But he’ll return to the soap opera on July 12 for a dramatic storyline that involves him, Li, and their son.
Ted first appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2021 and starred in 37 episodes according to his IMDb page. After his last appearance on the show, he appeared in the Academy Award-winning film Oppenheimer as Senator Bartlett – one of the senators who was part of the confirmation hearing of Lewis Strauss (played by Robert Downey Jr).
The actor isn’t a stranger to the soap opera world. He appeared as Tomas Delgado on One Life to Live, starring in 133 episodes in 2011 and 2012.
Before then, he played identical twins Lorenzo Alcazar and Luis Alcazar on General Hospital. He appeared in 501 episode from 2002 to 2007.
The Bold and the Beautiful cast recently had another shake-up, with Tom Starr dropping dead earlier this week after being poisoned. A gloved hand poured a strange and undisclosed white powder into Tom’s drink, leaving fans wondering who the murderer was and why.
Fans speculated that it was Poppy who killed him, as Tom was threatening to tell Luna that he was her biological father. Poppy recently told her daughter that her father was Bill, and a DNA test apparently proved that – but fans are skeptical.
“Anyone have [has] any ideas who killed Tom on the #BoldandBeautiful? Jack making a sudden reappearance seems strange, but [what] motive? And a drug overdose? Poppy’s special mints. Did she do it and want him to die? She looked like was going to cry. Hmmm,” one fan wrote on X, formally known as Twitter.
