General Hospital spoilers tease that few things in Port Charles are more polarizing than Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Heather has lived in Port Charles on and off for decades.

She’s always been a bit of a schemer and even in her earliest days, she committed some terrible crimes. But in the last decade or so, Heather became much more dangerous and violent.

She committed several murders as “The Hook” in an effort to hurt anyone who supported Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in her fight against Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber has several victims.

Heather killed Brando Corbin (the late Johnny Wactor) and Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) among others. Most recently, she tried to murder Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) right inside General Hospital.

But that’s when Heather collapsed and doctors discovered something shocking. After a faulty hip replacement many years ago, Heather has been subjected to cobalt poisoning, which may very well be the root cause of her more violent tendencies.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has made it her mission to have this new evidence included in Heather’s legal record, which could even lead to Heather’s release from prison.

GH Spoilers – Franco Baldwin has a lot in common with his mother Heather Webber

If Heather’s story sounds familiar, it’s because he own son Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was in a very similar situation. Franco was a prolific serial killer who terrorized Port Charles in his quest to make Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) suffer.

But it was discovered that he had a brain tumor that caused him to become a killer. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was successfully able to keep Franco out of prison.

Franco went on to be a beloved husband and step-father to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and her three sons. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has already pointed out that Diane’s case could certainly form a precedent, and Heather could ultimately go free.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson will stop at nothing

Understandably, the possibility of Heather’s release horrifies Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). Portia’s daughter Trina was Heather’s ultimate target as “The Hook”.

She’s terrified that if Heather goes free, she could come after Trina again. She made it her business to oppose Laura’s plan at every turn and even wants to have Laura recalled as mayor.

When Elizabeth showed up in the middle of Portia’s confrontation with Laura, Portia attacked her too. But Elizabeth knows first hand from her experience with Franco that Heather could be a productive citizen and deserves a chance.

This could cause serious problems between them, especially because they work so closely at General Hospital.

What do you think?

Should Heather’s case be re-opened? Is Portia right to be concerned about Heather’s potential release? Could issues between Portia and Elizabeth impact their work together?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back right here regularly for all your General Hospital news, information and spoilers!
